Letters to a Young Poet
This production by Concert Theatre Works feature the letters between Rainer Maria Rilke’s and aspiring poet Franz Kappus accompanied by string quartets by Ravel and Debussy.
I filmed the world premiere as well as material for this trailer with The Brodsky Quartet at Aldeburgh Festival 2023. The two actors playing Rilke and Kappus, Bill Barclay and David Joseph were both miced with hidden lavs.
