Promos & Interviews

These videos are made to promote or explain a piece, programme, scheme, or anything you can think of.

Subatomic installation at Science Gallery London

I produced a video to sit outside Christo Squier’s installation and explain how it worked. This involved pieces to camera (with autocue) and footage from the installation itself.

I also produced shorter versions for Twitter and Instagram

Aldeburgh Festival

This film “Piano in the Reeds” was made to promote Aldeburgh Festival 2016. The simple message of classical music in a spectacular setting was conveyed by moving a grand piano out among the reed beds of Snape Maltings.

I organised the move, booked polecam operator, drone pilots and sound engineer, and then edited the video. It was featured on The Guardian’s website

Britten Pears Young Artist Programme

I shot a version of this back in 2017, and now this new version in 2022.

This features footage back from two courses and interviews with many participants and tutors, and aims to promote the programme while answering any frequently asked questions.

With additional footage by Greyhound Creative

London Symphony Orchestra

I filmed interviews with the composers and tutors on the LSO Panufnik Composers Scheme, as well as musicians from the orchestra. They played in between their pieces filmed in March 2021 in Covid-secure conditions.

You can see the interviews in the chapters of the video.

Festival of New

I edited several promos for projects featured at Britten Pears Arts’ Festival of New. These artists work on their ideas during residencies on site and then present it in public open sessions. These sessions and the videos produced during them aim to take the projects to the next stage. This video is just one example.

Sing Up

I edited this promo to promote Sing Up’s resources for teachers. Footage by Alex Barnes of Apple and Biscuit Recordings
